Installation for MUWA

MUWA is the abbreviation of the Museum of Perception in Graz, Austria. The MUWA building was built in 1904 as a public bath. Please feel free to play with the water at the entrance and listen to the sound of our imaginary bath.

The installation provides several objects including sponge, soft bottle, mini basket and popping candy for the audience to play with the water in a bowl. The sounds are collected through a contact microphone and sent to a Pure Data patch. There the sounds are processed and played back with the original public bath acoustic.
